I love love love those and am seriously considering purchasing them in our initials. I think they would go with the icy, kind of blingy theme I've got going.
i remember making this stuff in shop class. maybe you could contact your local middle school and see if they'll do it? they're always making stuff and throwing it out so it can't hurt.
Really beautiful but I'm with you on not wanting to pay that price. Lucky for me they don't really fit into our scheme anywhere. I am however using felt initials in orange at our social (aka rehearsal dinner where everyone's invited and it's at a park and real informal). I did a post today about an initial a friend made for me. Kelly
