I went to Target today to purchase my Polaroid film since they just announced they are no longer making it. I figure there won't be any in sight come May 2009 so I'd best be buying it now. My fiance assures me that even though the film I bought expires 3/09 that the film will still work, there will just be variances in the color which he thinks actually looks better so score! I still have to bid on a camera on eBay since no store I know of still sells the cameras. So anyone else wanting to use Polaroids for their guest book or any other fun project go get some now!

hi- we are using polaroid for our guest book too. I guess it makes it extra vintage now!
We bought our camera and film off Amazon... they had quite a few in the 'marketplace' section.
I know! It's so sad. I wanted to do the same...but our wedding isn't until the fall of 2009. So, I'm kinda worried about the film.
I did the guest-book this way for my own wedding and it turned out sooooo awesome. What a bummer!! We should start brainstorming now the next great idea for a guest book and photos!!

but we thought to make a board that would fit 100 or so messages would be way too huge and we would have no where to put it after the wedding! So I think our guest book is going to have the pages of the frames and guests can either put in their polaroid or write in a note.
