Since our favor (wine bottle stopper) is really only useful to those 21 and up I have to think of something for the younger crowd and kiddies. This could be difficult because a 17 year old wouldn't be interested in the same thing as a 6 year old. We are inviting quite a few youngins to the wedding. I am already thinking of having a kids corner for the rowdy ones, activity books, games, etc, so for ages 5-13 maybe a Mad Libs book or Invisible Ink book. I used to love these and it would keep them entertained.
Or maybe just some candies? I love this picture ( I am SO sorry I don't remember where I found it). Or do kids even need/want favors?

I don't think that kids need a 'favor' particularly if you are doing the kids activity items such as coloring books or whatnot... if you did want to a favor that would be 'kid friendly' I might do candy... since you already have kick butt favors just something like a candy in one of your wedding colors in a cello bag- something simple.
It's awesome that you're doing coloring books for the kidlets! As for the 17 year olds, I don't think they'll expect a favor or even notice if there isn't one. If you do feel like you have to put something by their plate, I'd go with the wine stopper (if they don't use it, someone they know will). Otherwise they might feel snubbed having candies.. after all, I bet they 'feel' like grownups! (I remember being 17 and feeling soooo old, ha ha). Of course, if we're talking 12 year olds, then that's a different story and candies in your colors would be cute. Good idea!
